I think a lot of my inspiration for this song is the return of the Divine Feminine and Robert Anton Wilson’s novel Ishtar Rising. Ishtar Rising is a book by Robert Anton Wilson that explores the rise of the feminine principle in society and culture. The book draws on a variety of sources, from ancient mythology to modern psychology, to trace the emergence of the feminine principle as a force for change in the world.
Wilson argues that the patriarchal dominance of Western culture has repressed the feminine principle, leading to a range of social and psychological problems. By reconnecting with the feminine principle, both men and women can tap into a more holistic and compassionate way of being, leading to a more balanced and harmonious society. The book is a call to action for readers to embrace the feminine principle and work towards creating a more equitable and just world.
Ishtar Rising is a challenging and thought-provoking book that draws on a range of disciplines to offer a new perspective on the world. Wilson’s writing is engaging and accessible, making complex ideas accessible to a wide audience. The book is sure to inspire readers to think deeply about their place in the world and their role in shaping the future.
I tempted Eve
“I tempted eve because you filled her with your seed
and apples don’t fall far from trees
I can’t believe they are still replacing me
fuck you Adam it’s me Lilly
I saw an angel
her name is his
a mystery above all mysterious things
she is the future
she is the past
and above all else
she is our only chance
she makes the statues cry
devils fall
her clock is fixed
she’s a scientist
we live in a Petri dish
She said
I tempted eve because you filled her with your seed
and apples don’t fall far from trees
I can’t believe
they are still replacing me
fuck you Adam it’s me Lilly
I was the original
fire burns within my soul
Now I think it’s time you learn
cause I have watched my empire burn
destroy the ocean currents
to satisfy the wealthy merchant
wearing my crown as it all went down
I’ve washed my hands of this
hell fire returns it twist
I’ve washed my hands of this
hell fire returns in twist
I tempted eve because you filled her with your seed
and apples don’t fall far from trees
I tempted eve because you filled her with your seed
and apples don’t fall far from trees
I can’t believe they are still replacing me
fuck you Adam it’s me Lilly
I saw an angel
her name is his
a mystery above all mysterious things
