
Maggie Burnz whose real name is Gretchen Bower an American recording artist, reality personality, singer-songwriter, and Author who pens under the name Lucille Alabaster. She is the younger sister of music producer and radio DJ Damian Burnz of the infamous DMS Crew. She grew up in Suffolk County New York and started her career in entertainment early at the age of 16 Maggie Burnz was working as a paid choreographer for a well established Ballet Academy.
Choreo wasn’t quite enough to pay the bills so she enrolled in beauty school and quickly found employment at long islands #1 ranked barber shop Rockabilly barbers and was involved in the creation of a pilot reality series about the shop that never aired. It was a great idea for a show and it was from the creators of Jackass so she thought that would be her break but alas it was not. Maggie Burnz went on to style the rich and famous clientele of the Hamptons soon after leaving Rockabilly and established herself as an artist in the Hamptons.


Maggie found a love for recording working in a basement studio on the east end of Long Island called Blend Brothers Productions after recording a few demos she wanted more so she sought out Charlie Marotta of Illified Missions. Charlie who got his start in the business as the engineer on the EPMD albums had some great ideas for pop songs and they collaborated on tracks “Feels like I never knew you”,”Poison on the Radio”, and a rockabilly song called “Don’t worry”. During the countless nights spent at Charlie’s studio she was able to link up with Mr. Cheeks from the infamous rap group Lost Boyz and underground hip hop artist and Suffolk county native Diabolic. She has collaborated with both artists and is featured on Mr. Cheeks “Raised” album and Diabolic’s “The Disconnect”.
Maggie loaned her voice to a project called Lucy’s inferno with production by Pazi Tchello and lyrical collaboratons with Buttatones but the project was short lived. Check out “Raven” the hook is undeniably solid.
Maggie is currently working on music with Cortex, MADBEATZ, and hOLLANDjUNGLE for the upcoming release of N.Y.B.D.’s debut album. The first track out is called “Black Light” and Maggie Burnz wrote the Majority of the lyrics. It’s dark emotional and extremely catchy.
Maggie is also working on solo projects with producer and Mr. Cheeks little brother MADBEATZ. The first single they have put out is called “The American dream” it’s a smash single.
